Quick Start Guide

This guide will walk you through the basic steps to download your first lyric file with SongSync.

Step 1: Install and Launch the App

First, make sure you have installed SongSync on your device. If you haven't, follow the Installation Guide.

When you launch the app for the first time, you will be greeted with a setup screen.

Step 2: Grant Permissions

The setup screen will ask you to grant essential permissions. The most important one is All Files Access, which allows SongSync to find your music and save .lrc files. Tap on each permission request and follow the system prompts to grant access.

Once all required permissions are granted, click the "Continue" button.

Step 3: Find Your Song

After the initial setup, SongSync will automatically scan your device for music files and display them in a list on the main screen.

Scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top to find the song you want lyrics for. Tap on the song to proceed.

Step 4: Fetch and Download Lyrics

You will be taken to the Lyrics Fetch screen. The app will automatically use the song's title and artist to search for lyrics using the default provider (Spotify).

  • If lyrics are found, they will be displayed on the screen.
  • You can review the lyrics to ensure they are correct.

Once you are satisfied, tap the Save .lrc file button.

SongSync will create a new file named YourSongTitle.lrc and save it in the same folder as your music file.

Step 5: Play Your Music!

That's it! Open your favorite music player that supports .lrc files. When you play the song, the player should automatically detect the new lyric file and display the synchronized lyrics.
