Customizing Commands

Every command added via Commander can be customized to fit your aesthetic and workflow needs.

Configuration Options

In the Commander settings tab, each added command row offers the following controls:

1. Icon: Click the icon preview to open the icon picker. Commander uses the Lucide icon set.
2. Name: Double-click the text label to rename the command. This is useful for shortening long plugin command names (e.g., changing "Dataview: Javascript Codeblock" to "JS").
3. Color Picker: Click the colored circle to open a color picker. You can define a specific color for the icon (e.g., making a "Delete" command red).
4. Availability Mode: Click the device icon to cycle through modes:
   • All Devices: Visible everywhere.
   • Desktop Only: Visible only on desktop apps.
   • Mobile Only: Visible only on phones/tablets.
   • This Device Only: Visible only on the specific device instance ID you are currently configuring.
5. Remove: Click the trash can icon to remove the command.

Mobile Specifics

On mobile, tapping a command in the settings list opens a Modify Modal where you can adjust the Icon, Name, Mode, and Color in a touch-friendly interface.
